Building Empires Since History

1.jpg

Over centuries, Central India’s Gwalior became a prized stronghold; its massive hilltop Gwalior Fort, often called the ‘Gibraltar of India’, stood witness to the rise and fall of empires. Beneath the vast lands are infinite deposits of a stone

So Rich, So Regal,
That we named it
Fort White

Beneath our quarries lies a silent world where geology guards the ambitions of empires, waiting for their turn. With every descent, the stone grows finer, whiter, purer, as though time itself has been refining it in secrecy. As we cut through the overburden, it feels as though we are peeling back the pages of kingdoms that once ruled here the Pratiharas, the Tomars, the Mughals, the Scindias, each echoing within these layers.

Fort White has awakened from history, to build empires of the future

FORT WHITE Brochure 1_edited.jpg

Fort White casts a luminous, ethereal glow that shifts from a crisp porcelain in the high sun to a warm, milky cream as the shadows lengthen.

It yields to the mason's chisel, allowing for the birth of intricatefiligrees, sweeping radiuses, and razor-sharp chamfers. Fort White lends itself to the most delicate ornamental flourishes

Our FORT WHITE stone has a high-reflectance, fine-grained silicate matrix that bridges the gap between neoclassical stone heritage & the sharp-edged demands of high-performance, modern rainscreen facades.

FORT WHITE IS A LOVECHILD OF MODERNITY & HERITAGE.

Its exceptional structural cohesion allows it to endure high-velocity CNC machining and 5-axis carving without spalling, enabling architects to execute razor-sharp geometric undercuts, intricate fluted profiles, and ultra-thin perforated screens that would be impossible in more brittle limestones.
